SYDNEY – Australia is like the United States and other developed countries. There are so many interesting tourist destinations that are worth visiting. Not only are they free of charge to enter, but also provide satisfying free facilities including free public Wi-Fi.

Deciding where to visit does matter since Australia is located in the southern hemisphere while other developed countries are located mostly in the northern hemisphere. So, if travelers want to enjoy summer in December, Australia is the right choice for them.

One of those famous destinations in Australia is Sydney. Although it is not the capital city of Australia, Sydney is the largest city across the continent. Sydney has so much to offer such as tourist attractions. Those are Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Museums, and Botanic Gardens.

Darling Harbour, Sydeny Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Museum of Contemporary Art, Hyde Park, and the Royal Botanic Gardens are located in the same area. So, visitors can go to those different places on the same day on foot. Besides, people can see different giant cruise ships from within this area. They can also clearly hear cruise ship horn battles when those ship want to show off whose horn sounds the most beautiful.

People can sit or lie on the grass of the Hyde Park while looking at the magnificent Sydney city skyline. Even Though Sydney is a very big city, visitors enjoy spending their time there as it is tranquil for not being densely populated as other big cities in the world.

“This is my first time ever in Sydney. I have been to many different big cities in the world. Despite being the largest city, the life here is tranquil like in a countryside. I wish I could live here too,” Ryan said, a foreign temporary visitor.

Bondi beach is located in different part of the city. It is around 7.6 km away from Darling Harbour. Visitors who arrive on the beach for the first time mostly already know from media about Bondi beach and its rip currents that it strongly recommended that someone who cannot swim should not be too far on their own from the coastline when they want to play in sea waters.

Visitors do not need to bring any thick jacket as the temperature is pretty temperate in December. They may bring disposable rain coats since Sydney has a rather heavy rainfall.
